Gerald Robert (Bob) Johnson passed away May 27, 2016 at the age of 74. He was born September 26, 1941 to Winifred Ardis Wilson and Gerald W Johnson. He attended local schools, Sierra Middle School and East High, graduating in 1959. He worked as a teenager on the rides at Hart Park which was family owned, a gas station on Edison Hwy and finally for Pacific Gas & Electric for 36 years retiring in 1998. He was a lineman and retired as a Troubleman in the electric department. He belonged to the Tarfons Car Club for several years were he raced his 57 Chevy. He was also a member of the Eagles for 50 years, member of the NRA and supported other various organizations. He enjoyed all the outdoor sports all his life from boating with (MR. BLUE), motorcycle riding, hunting, fishing, golf and traveling. His family was the center of his life, enjoying them everyday and his beloved dogs Jackie D and Mistie.
His mother, father and stepfather Lee Hagelstein precede him in death.
He is survived by his brothers Scott (Dottie)& Mike (Barbara) Hagelstein and many nieces & nephews, his wife Linda of 39 years, his sons Brandon (Shelley), Kevin (Lisa), & Chris (Erica), his beloved grandkids Cassidy, Cameron, Landon, Luke, Lacey, Zackary, & Reece Johnson.
The family wants to thank Dr. Steven Strategos for the years of care and Dr Ravi Patel and all his wonderful staff at CBCC for the care that they have given Bob and the support to the family for many years. Hoffmann Hospice did a wonderful job the last few days making our life as comfortable as could be expected.
