Bob passed away peaceful at home December 28, 2017. He was born November 9, 1927 the third of 10 children to John and Julia Childers. He is preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, 4 sisters and grandson Christopher Johnson.
Bob is survived by his wife Jean, daughter Linda and Larry Johnson, son Rob and Karen Childers and sister Ruth and Bob Danley.
Bob was grandfather, great grandfather, and a great great grandfather. All of his grandsons were very special to him.
bob was a lifetime member of the Elks BPO lodge 266 and a member of the American Legion Post 26.
Graveside service will be held at 2 on Monday, January 8, 2018 at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Mortuary.
