Dearest Emily
Can’t believe it has been a year since you went home to the lord 🙏 I’m sure you are loving on your granddaughter baby Emily Grace and your beloved son Craig 👼👼. You were an amazing women with a heart of gold 💛 you were always helping people, and showed nothing but love to your children, foster children, grandchildren, husband and family.  You definitely deserved your seat in heaven!  Thank you to you and Bob who made many memories over the years with my children and I 
RIP FOR ETERNITY.

Emily was my close friend for 43 years. She was a dedicated teacher, who was greatly loved by her students. She was also the most kind, caring  person I have ever met. She was always helping other people and animals. The world has lost a truly special human being! I will always remember what a wonderful friend she was.

Condolences to the family of Mrs Phillips. She was a special part of our family as a teacher at Santapogue.  At a time when my wife and were unsure of how to handle our sons developement, she was a calming and reassuring person. She put us and my son at ease, and we could never thank her enough. We will be there tonight to pay our respects, and to thank you for all you have meant to our family.

Emily, Your wild and adventurous ways lead to some incredible times that we had. I am so grateful To be your sister-in-law. Remembering our family trips to Disney World, trips to where ever, our favorite Country Buffet. Bubble gum chewing contests, The list goes on and on. You will always be very much loved

Mrs. Phillips was my resource room teacher at Santapogue about 15 years ago. Going to see her was always my favorite part of the day and every time I’d walk in, she would always be eating an apple with peanut butter without fail. Some of my fondest memories from elementary school were made in her room, like when she would bring in the rocks she had brought over from Iceland. I unfortunately haven’t seen her for many years, but she was one of those teachers you just don’t forget. My condolences to her family and friends, she truly was one of a kind. 

How people treat animals says a lot about a person. Emily had tremendous love for her pets and animals, even the wild ones that live outdoors. She fed the stray cats and the wildlife. Emily treasured her family and always told me how lucky she was to have Bobby all these years. What a beautiful woman Emily was inside and out. She was a one of a kind because she was genuinely caring, honest and really funny. She had a heart of gold which was obvious to anyone who knew her. Loved by so many, including me, Emily will be missed tremendously. Although we are cousins, I always thought of her as more of an Aunt. Emily’s optimistic, fun loving spirit will live on inside our hearts.

My brain is flooded with memories of my most unorthodox friend Emily. We laughed together n we laughed at one another. To hang with Emily meant abandoning the rules! What was most important was that the kids had fun and they always did. 
Egging on Halloween  - stealing away into the night on FI by walking from Kismet to parking Field 5! If that screen door banged shut one more time…..love you Em n all of our adventures . I will always cherish the memories we made together.  RIP Miss Emily. We love you! ♥️💃

Dear Bob,Darren,Todd,and Deanna, there spouses and children, family and friends,

The memories that my 2 kids and I have are forever sketched in our heart ❤️.  Emily was unique, loving, caring, always on the run and would do anything to help anyone that was around her!  The love she had for children were just amazing. Not only did she have 4 children of her own she also took in foster children into her home and gave them all the support and love as if they were her own.  Emily I could go on and on with memories that have touched my heart.  RIP dear Emily until we meet again. We love and miss you

So sad to learn of the passing of this dear, amazing, woman.  She never ceased to surprise me with her generosity, love of life, work, family, animals.  She and Bob are fixtures in our neighborhood.  Bob’s devotion to her was so beautiful to see.  She was truly beautiful inside and out.  Our condolences to Bob, Darren, Todd, her sisters and her grandchildren.    May she Rest In Peace. This picture is from 2015 when we went to Hampton bays high school to watch Emilys grandsons play basketball.. we bought the Scelfo kids too. This was a great day for  all of us. We didn’t have to spend a lot of money or anything .. just ole fun with kids kids kids!! 

I live this picture of Emily.. a free spirit doing her thing! She was very special! Sonny loved the story of how she called Lea and said “ I did it!! It took all week but I ate the green bean!”

Emily was a cherished friend with a heart of gold second to none. She touched and influenced so many lives in positive ways and I know her legacy will live on. My heartfelt condolences to her loving family whom she cherished and adored. My prayers are for peace and comfort for her beautiful family and that the many memories that they all made together through the years will bring comfort during this very difficult time as well as in days to come. As it’s been said, “Preserve your memories - they’re all that’s left you.” (Simon & Garfunkel).  You will be sorely missed my dear friend, and until we meet again, rest in sweet peace ❤️
