William was adopted by Clara Mae Wiggins and Eugene Wiggins. William served in the United States Marine Corp and went on to serve his community as a Travis County Sheriff’s Deputy. Some of William's hobbies included watching college football and NASCAR Racing. William was a scuba diving instructor when he was younger and became a certified PADI Master Diver and instructor. William notably loved his dog’s Shi Shi and Ruby.
William is survived by his wife, Yoshiko Wiggins; his daughter Linda Wiggins (Michael Jovicevic) of Austin, Texas; his daughter Dika Myers (John Myers) of Cedar Park, Texas; and his son JW Wiggins (Tammy Wiggins) of Cedar Park, Texas; his brother Tim Turley of Ohio, his sister Penny Flowers of Austin, Texas, his sister Kim Scherer of Ohio, his sister Linda Gumm of Kentucky and his sister Dee Brenfleck of Arizona. Grandchildren Michael, Matthew, Thomas, Ethan, Amber, Sierra. Great Grandchildren Lily, Daniel and Parker.
William was preceded in death by his father Eugene Wiggins and his mother Clara Mae Wiggins; his brother Everett (Butch) Turley and his brother Tom Hildebrand.
A memorial service for William will be held Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 6300 West William Cannon Drive, Austin, TX 78749.
