William Randolph Hurst Jr. (Randy) aged 61 died July 1, 2022. He was born on May 23, 1961 in Austin, Texas, the son of Barbara Hurst and William Randolph Hurst, Sr. (Bill). Growing up, Randy participated in baseball and football into his high school years. Randy loved hanging out with his friends. Randy graduated from Round Rock High School in 1980. Randy loved all animals, cats dogs, horses, basically anything with four legs. He loved feeding the wildlife around his property and sitting on his porch watching the deer and birds.
Randy is survived by his mother, Barbara Hurst, his sister Barbie Teets and her husband Rob Teets, their children Taylor Richardson, her husband Jacob Richardson and Dana Teets. He also leaves behind his beloved cats Sylvester and Longshot.
A memorial service for William will be held Sunday, July 10, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills Funeral Home, 9700 Anderson Mill Road, Austin, TX 78750.
