Virginia Shelton

Virginia was born January 10, 1922 in Austin, Texas to Arthur Page Campbell Sr. and Agnes Redd Campbell of Austin, Texas. Virginia graduated from Austin High School where she met the love of her life and future husband Jack Cavett Shelton Sr. Virginia received her degree from the University of Texas at Austin, and thereafter married Jack on April 4, 1942 in Austin, Texas.

Virginia is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 72 years, Jack Shelton Sr. Their only son Jack "Jay" Cavett Shelton Jr. and wife Margaret Coats Shelton of Austin Texas. As well as her brother Arthur Page Campbell Jr. of Austin Texas.

Virginia is survived by her Grandson John Campbell Shelton and wife LaTisha Shelton of Three Forks, Montana, nephew; Craig Campbell of Houston, Texas, niece; Laurie Dawson of Houston, Texas, niece; Angie Johnson and husband Matt Johnson of San Marcos, Texas and cousin Kathy Spears Clayton and husband Jerry of Dripping Springs Texas.

John and LaTisha Shelton would like to extend a special thanks to Jerry and Kathy Clayton, Debbie Torres, Laurie Dawson, Matt and Angie Johnson for their love and support.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., at the Cook-Walden Forest Oaks Funeral Home Chapel 6300 W. William Cannon Dr. Austin, Texas 78749. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park Cemetery.
