Trinidad Cano Guerrero, age 72, of Austin, Texas died on Tuesday, January 8, 2013. She is survived by her husband of 53 years Luis; children, Linda Guerrero, Miguel Guerrero, Luis Guerrero II; grandchildren, Stephanie Gallier, Dominique Carrillo, Christina Guerrero, Crystal Guerrero, Joshua Guerrero; great-grandsons, Blake Rogers, Clayton Gallier.
She was a lifetime member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. She graduated from Austin High School in 1958. She worked for the Honorable Judge Tom Blackwell and he encouraged her to be a certified court reporter. She taught court reporting at Austin Court Reporters, Jackson Business School, and Ft Worth Court Reporting College, eventually establishing Texas Court Reporters. She then relocated to Webb County, Laredo Texas and was an Official Certified Court Reporter for the Honorable Judge Manuel Flores of the 49th District Court.
Trine was a charter member of Siempre Amigos, a non-profit organization who provided scholarships for Austin's under privileged students.
Special blessings to Dr. Shubhada S. Shirkhande and the loving staff at Hospice Austin. Pallbearers are Joe Gallier, Pete Cano III, Joe D Lopez, Reynaldo Carrillo, Albert Benavides, and Billy Procell. Honorary pallbearers are members of Siempre Amigos.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 7:00 pm on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Mass will be held on 12:00 pm Friday, January 11, 2013 followed by a reception at Our Lady Of Guadalupe Church Hall.
