Terry Eugene Seiders

Terry Eugene Seiders passed away May 16, 2018, at the age of 76. Terry made his entrance into this world November 12, 1941, in Austin, TX, the first of three boys born to H. Eugene Seiders and Violet Cook Seiders. Terry grew up in Austin and graduated from Austin High School in 1960, where he was a member of the football team and a state championship baseball team. He graduated from Sam Houston State University in 1966 with a Bachelor of Science in Economics, after which, he began a career at Puritan Chemical Company in Dallas, TX. It was in Dallas where he met Sheryl Walker on February 12, 1970, got engaged seven months later on September 12, 1970, and married her three months after on December 12, 1970. Terry and Sheryl moved to Waco, TX, where he worked with the Pure Milk Company for two years before returning to his hometown of Austin in 1973, where continued his employment with Puritan Chemical Company. His greatest joys in life were dove and quail hunting, summers at Balcones Country Club, and time spent with friends and family. He was fortunate to have several blessed years enjoying time with his two grandchildren, Austin Terry and Ashleigh.

Terry is survived by his wife Sheryl Walker Seiders; his three children, Scott and wife Linda, Stephanie and husband Cory Rutherford, Steven and wife Amy; his two grandchildren Austin Terry and Ashleigh; and his two brothers Roger and Alan. Terry was preceded in death by his parents H. Eugene Seiders and Violet Cook Seiders. Terry was the life of the party and will be greatly missed by his close friends and family. We take great comfort knowing he's in the Kingdom of Heaven amongst many loved ones that went before him.

Viewing will be held on Monday, May 21st at 10:30 AM at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home on North Lamar; a service to follow at 11:00 AM. Burial is at Oakwood Annex Cemetery where Terry will be laid to rest next to his parents. The family welcomes all to join them at Scott and Linda's home in Driftwood for a reception celebrating the life of Terry Eugene Seiders.
