Sean Kaeo Kinimaka, born on March 14, 1986, in Manly, NSW, Australia, left this world on July 14, 2024 in Austin, Texas. He was a beloved life partner to Sarah Simpson and a devoted father to Kai and Asher Kinimaka. Sean is survived by his mother Joanie Bell; father Bud Kinimaka; sisters Nicole Kabasawa, Alex and Georgia Kinimaka; Uncle Kaeo Kinimaka; Papa James Kinimaka; as well as numerous other relatives and friends who cherished him deeply.
Growing up in the picturesque coastal town of Manly in New South Wales, Australia shaped Sean's love for surfing and spending time with family. His frequent visits to Hawaii were always filled with joyous reunions with loved ones and memorable moments riding the waves that he held so dear.
In his professional life as a consultant for Summit Roofing, Sean's dedication was unmatched. He consistently went above and beyond for his customers and received continuous recognition for his outstanding contributions to the company. His unwavering drive to succeed inspired those around him while leaving an indelible mark on everyone he encountered.
Despite facing a relentless battle against cancer until the very end of his days here on earth, Sean remained resilient—his spirit unbroken even amidst adversity. In addition to being dedicated to his work and family, he found solace at the gym where he poured himself into maintaining both physical strength and mental fortitude.
A celebration of Sean's remarkable life will be held at Gateway Church on July 26th at 5 pm located at 7104 McNeil Dr., Austin TX 78729. This gathering will provide an opportunity for all who knew him to come together in remembrance of a man whose impact transcended boundaries.
Sean Kaeo Kinimaka leaves behind a legacy defined by love that touched countless lives—a testament not only to his character but also to the enduring bonds formed through shared experiences with those fortunate enough to have known him personally or professionally.
May we find comfort in our memories of Sean—the laughter shared during carefree days spent surfing off Australian shores or basking under Hawaiian sunsets—and may these recollections serve as lasting reminders of how profoundly he enriched our lives.
