Sandy Johnson

Sandy leaves behind her 3 sons, Gary Wayne Milam, Richard Gerald Simpson and Randall Curtis Simpson. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, as well as many other family members and dear friends.

Sandy was predeceased by her parents, four siblings and her youngest son Rodney Lynn Simpson.

Despite a lifetime of struggles, one thing remained constant—her unwavering love for God. He was her number one, her source of strength, comfort, and hope through all seasons of life.

Her faith shone brightly, and she shared that light with others, even when her own path was difficult. Those who know Sandy will remember her for her kindness, compassion, and the depth of her devotion, reminding us of all the strength that comes from holding onto hope and grace.

Though her journey was not easy, she is now at peace in the loving arms of God.

A celebration of life for Sandy will be held Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Fitzhugh Cemetery, Austin, Austin, TX 78736.
