Raymond was born on April 13, 1943 in Waco, Texas to Alberto and Emilia Rivera. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Carolina Rivera, (Daughters), Isabel Corona, Janie Suniga, husband, Victor Suniga II, Alesia Rodriguez, husband Javier Rodriguez, Debbie, Suniga, husband, Richard Suniga, Lucy Carrillo, husband, David Carrillo, Eva Garner, husband, Leyon Garner, Lupe, Cruz, (Son) Albert Rivera, (Sisters) Irene Wentz, Margie Mitchell, Linda Hernandez, Mary Caffey and Delia Mata.
31 grandchildren and 65 great grand grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Alberto and Emilia Rivera, his brothers, Joe, Jesse, Albert Jr., and Vincent (Ray), (daughters), Delma Mendoza and Emilia (Millie) Rivera, Great Grandson, Bryan Pesina and Great Grand Daughter, Arya Jean Arceneaux.
Raymond graduated in Auto Mecanics Trade School in Los Angeles, CA in 1963. Raymond was the owner of Raymond’s Transmissions for many years. His passion was celebrating life, being around family and friends. His other passion was listening to music and playing drums and the piano. He loved to grill hamburgers and make homemade pizzas for everyone that would visit him. He loved camping, fishing, and gambling at the casinos, especially playing at the craps table. On Raymond’s free time he would visit with his good neighbor friend Paul Guajardo.
Raymond was always available to anyone and everyone whenever needed. Raymond had the biggest heart and warm soul, always smiling and had lots of patience. He was always full of life. He will be missed by many.
