Ramona King Stewart, age 53 left this earth on January 12, 2019 in Austin Texas to be with God and the Angels. Her passing was sudden and unexpected. Though she had many health issues she was having an ordinary day when she suddenly had trouble breathing on Wednesday January 9th and passed away the early morning hours of January 12th.
Ramona did not finish high school but was very proud of the fact that she attained her GED at the age of 30. She started working at a very early age and had her only child, Candace before she turned 18. Ramona was full of life. She used to tell me "you may hate me or you may love me but either way you will remember me" and that was true. She absolutely loved the water, especially the Caribbean. She enjoyed her grandchildren as if they were her very own children. Being a Mimi meant the world to her. She enjoyed riding with Scott on their motorcycle and just traveling in general.
Ramona was predeceased by her Granny, Odessa Leverett; her Father, Thomas Richard King; and her older sister, Sharon King. She is survived by her husband, Scott Stewart; her mother, Patsy King; her daughter, Candace Alves; her step-daughter, Keely Stewart; her sister, Lori Holloway and husband Mike Holloway; her niece, Amy Holloway; her nephew, Joshua King; and 7 beautiful grandchildren.
