Pauline D. "Polly" Bartlett

She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Ace M. Bartlett; 7 sisters; and 1 brother. Pauline is survived by her beloved son, Tim A. Bartlett and wife, Marinell; granddogs, Scruffy and Eva; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.

As newlyweds Ace and Pauline moved to Austin where she had a very rewarding career in banking for 38 years, retiring from Texas Commerce Bank. She was a life-long member of the Baptist Church, involved in women’s ministries and bible studies and was a current member of Woodlawn Baptist Church.

The family wishes to express their thanks and appreciation to the nurses and staff of Monte Siesta Nursing and Rehabilitation for their care and to the nurses and staff of 7 East at Brackenridge Hospital.

Visitation will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 9, 2010 with a service being held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 S. Congress Avenue. Pastor Joel Thielepape will officiate.

“Polly” will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
