Pat was born in Evanston, Illinois on April 30, 1945 at St. Francis Hospital. He attended Evanston Township High School and Wright College, before joining the United States Air Force in 1966. While in the military he met and married the love of his life, Lois. Pat and his bride built their home together in Austin and raised their family. After leaving the Air Force, Pat helped build the Bowling Center, Highland Lanes, which to this day is a favorite local destination.
Pat is preceded in death by: Lois Tabor Fitzpatrick (the love of his life), Gerald Fitzpatrick (Father), Catherine (nee: Jung) Fitzpatrick (Mother), Stephen Miles (Brother in Law), Midnight (loyal dog).
Pat is survived by his Daughter Suzanne (nee: Ivicic) Collins and his Son Mark Ivicic (Krystal). Grandchildren: Mark Ivicic Jr., Elesa (nee: Ivicic) Parker (Eric), Nicole Collins, Amy (nee: Collins) Macias (Russell), Colton Collins. Great Grandchildren: Ellie, Eli, Landyn, Creeda, Hudson. Sister: Kathleen Miles. Niece: Amy "AL" (nee: Miles) Licke (Michael). Great Nephew: Stephen Licke. Puppy Dog: Irish.
Visitation with the family will be held from 9:00-10:00am followed by a funeral service at 10:00am on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Cook Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Blvd, Austin, Texas. Interment to follow in Cook Walden Memorial Hill Cemetery, Pflugerville, Texas.
