Nelda T. Cisneros

Mrs. Nelda T. Cisneros, age 80 years, born in Creedmoor, Texas, January 6, 1934 passed away peacefully at her residence on November 15, 2014. With the help of her husband Julian Cisneros she was able to open her business Nelda’s Tailors, Inc. in May, 1979. Her ambition and her extremely talented ability in tailoring gained her many loyal, professional customers and celebrities throughout her professional career. Preceded in death to Mrs. Cisneros are her father, Edward Terrazas Sr., mother Angelina S. Terrazas, brothers Edward Terrazas Jr., Felix Terrazas, Henry Terrazas and sister Dorothy Limon. Survivors include her husband of sixty-three years, Julian Cisneros; Daughters Gladys Venegas and husband Edward, Anita Landeros and husband Oscar; Grandchildren Kimberly Ramirez and husband Richard, Sonia Galvan and husband Luis, Edward Julian Venegas and wife Denise, Anthony Guzman, Julian Guzman and wife Anabel; Seventeen great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers Oscar Landeros, Edward Venegas, Anthony Guzman, Julian Guzman, Edward Julian Venegas, Richard Ramirez, Luis Galvan and Jamison Venegas. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt Thank You to Mrs. Susie Ramirez, Century Hospice and staff for the wonderful and caring time they provided to our beloved wife and mother.

Visitation will be held for Mrs. Cisneros from six to nine o’clock in the evening with a Rosary recited at seven o’clock on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 N. Lamar Blvd. Austin, Texas 78752. A funeral mass will be held at ten o’clock in the morning on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Our Lady of the Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1206 E. 9th St., Austin, Texas 78702. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
