05/07/1933-01/14/2014
Louise was preceded in death by her son, Larry Rose, beloved husband of 60 years, Clifton Wright, brother Douglas Roberts and sisters; Velma Webb, Sue Moffett and Marzell Rose.
She is survived by daughter Cynthia Van Antwerp, daughter Brynn Anderson and son-in-law, Robert Anderson, son Chris Wright and Nancy York, brother Melvin Roberts, and sister Shirley Hatcher and Isla Faye Marion. Louise also leaves many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild who loved her dearly.
Louise often said she saw God through her gardening and had the most beautiful yard in the neighborhood. People walking or driving by her house would often stop and comment. Louise was also a long suffering and fervent football fan. She spent many happy hours cheering and on and “advising” her favorite teams and players.
Louise wanted to thank Dr. Scott Ream and Dr. Timothy Dziuk for their compassionate care. The family would also like to thank the staff at Park Bend Health Center for the loving care of both of our parents. We are especially grateful to Dr. Liam Fry, Ping Ye, N.P., and Odyssey Hospice for their tender care of both of our parents.
Louise was a force to be reckoned with and will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
Memorial services will be conducted at three o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the 18th of January 2014, in the Colonial Chapel of Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity or the Koenig Lane Christian Church, her family of faith for more than 50 years.
