Mary Ann was born July 19, 1921 in Godley, Texas to James and Ada (Franklin) Jackson.
She was an avid stamp collector, enjoyed sewing, gardening and later in life, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She spent 30 + years working as a custodian for Austin Area Lawyers in the former Brown Building.
Mrs. McFarland is survived by her children, Theodessa Arms, William E. McFarland (Jane), James D. McFarland, Mary E. Dieckman; 7 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren; and her best friend and niece, Emma Lee (Hester) Harper.
She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin E. McFarland. Her sister, Emma (Jackson) Hester and brother, David Jackson.
She will be greatly missed by those who loved her. Donations in lieu of flowers may be sent to your favorite charity in her memory.
