Mary Louise Robertson, 94, of Austin, Texas died Tuesday, October 25, 2022. Mary Lou, as she was known to her friends and family, was born in Port Huron, Michigan on May 11, 1928. A few years after graduating high school, she and her high school friend loaded their worldly belongings into a 1953 Studebaker Golden Hawk and headed for the bright lights of Los Angeles. While living in California she met her future husband, Henry Allen Robertson, when he showed up at her door trying to sell her pots and pans. Not one to pass up a good deal, she purchased the cookware and married the salesman. She was loving, bold, outspoken, a risk-taker, and a fierce bingo player. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Eric & Deborah Robertson, her granddaughter, Alexandra Robertson (the light of her life), extended family members, and her best friend, Betty Ford.
