MARY PAULINE ESTES Mary Pauline Estes passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2003, going to join her loved ones. Among them are her husband, Charles Brooks Estes, her parents, John Joseph and Georgia Garrison Kaiser, her brothers Charlie, Ralph, Johnnie, Weldon and Mack, and her only sister, Genevieve Rosso. She was born November 5, 1913, and raised in Trenton, Texas, and was graduated from Trenton High School. She received her Bachelors degree from East Texas State College in Commerce, Texas. She later received her Masters degree from Southwest Texas State University, in San Marcos. She was a teacher by vocation, and taught elementary education for over 40 years. Most of her teaching years were in Austin, but she also taught in Sherman, Whitesboro, Wichita Falls, and, at Independence, Kansas, during WWII, when her husband Charles was stationed there. She is survived by her nephews, Bill Kaiser of Austin, John Rosso of Fayetteville, and L. O. Kaiser, of Weatherford, and her three nieces, Elaine Starr, Georgia Ann Joyce, and Iris Marie Owens. She was a faithful member of St. Johns United Methodist church in Austin, the PEO and the Retired Teachers Association. Truly my soul waiteth upon God, from him cometh my salvation. (Psalms 62). The family will receive visitors from 6:00 8:00 p.m., on Wednesday, December 10, 2003 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home.
