Mary Lillian Doré Mary Lillian Doré (96), one of the oldest and longest volunteers at Brackenridge Hospital (RSVP), passed away in her home in Austin, Texas, on October 7, 2003. She was the widow of Dr. John P. Doré. Formerly of Oak Park, Illinois, Lillian was retired from Great American Savings & Loan. Survivors include three daughters, Jean (Norbert) Mills, Toledo, Ohio, Joan (Arthur deceased) Crowley, Roselle, Illinois, and Jane (Thomas) Rudbeck, Davenport, Iowa. Lillians 10 grandchildren were her pride and joy: Jeffrey (Kimberly) Mills, Timothy (Sherrie) Mills, Lisa Mills Cromwell, Patrick (Tara) Crowley, Timothy Crowley, Terence Crowley, James Crowley, Karen Crowley, Thomas Rudbeck III, and Laurie Rudbeck. Great-grandchildren: Ian and Lindsay Cromwell, Catherine Szkatulski, John Mills and Kristin Martin. One sister, Agnes Petzinger, as well as many loving nieces and nephews also survive her. Lillian was the oldest of eight children born to Irish immigrants, Simon and Hannah Harrison Dooley. She was also preceded in death by her twin sister, Margaret Koster; sisters, Helen Rymus and Catherine Prince; brothers, John, Frank and Tom Dooley; and great-granddaughter, Angela Sullivan. Lillian will be remembered for her love of family, helping others, parties, getting dressed-up, and ballroom dancing. Visitation from 28 pm, Sunday, October 12th, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home, in Austin, Texas. Visitation from 39 pm, Friday, October 17th, at Salerno-Rosedale Funeral Home, Roselle, Illinois. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am, Saturday, October 18, 2003, at St. Walter Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, Illinois.
