Mary Garza Cadena

Mary G. Cadena, 63, of Austin, Texas was called home by our heavenly father while surrounded by family on Monday January 21, 2013. She is preceded in death by her maternal mother Maria Patina, mother Barbarita Garza, and sister Rosie.

She is survived by her father Rudy Garza and his wife Mary. Her children Nicole and Rudy Rivera, Michelle and Carl Smith, Raquel Cadena, Rudy Edward and Brittney Cadena and their father Robert Cadena. Her grandchildren Dylan, Mia, Ethan, Andrew and Ryder. Her siblings Barbara, Becky, Ruth, Rosemary, Christina, Rudy Jr. and Leroy. She also leaves several special cousins and great friends.

She loved, spending time with family and friends, Elvis, the beach, the casino, and Joe's Bakery.

The family would like to invite friends to a prayer service beginning at seven o’clock in the evening on Thursday January 24, 2013 at Cook-Walden Funeral Home on 6100 North Lamar Blvd.
