It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved family and friend, Louisa “Penny” Rivera, on June 4th, 2023. Daughter of Quirino Rivera and Louisa Aguilar. She survived by her Husband Alexander Perez; sons Brandon Perez and Mario Rivera; her treasured grandchildren, Mark Anthony Rivera, Miranda Rivera and Leo Alexander Perez, great grandchildren, her sisters: Janie Dominguez , Liz Brown, Maria Reyes, along with other loving family members and friends. Louisa served 32 years with the State of Texas Comptroller
She was a beacon of love, selflessness, and care, and her absence leaves a void in our lives that can never be filled. Her unwavering devotion to her family and the love she shared with all who knew her will forever remain etched in our hearts
Louisa was born on November 18th, 1957. Throughout her life, she embodied the true essence of a nurturing soul. Her kindness knew no bounds, and she selflessly dedicated herself to the well-being and happiness of her loved ones. From her warm embrace to her comforting words, she had an innate ability to uplift the spirits of those around her.
While we mourn the loss of Penny, we take solace in the knowledge that her love will continue to guide us. Her selflessness and compassion will serve as an enduring example for generations to come. May her spirit live on in our hearts, reminding us to be kind, to love unconditionally, and to cherish the precious moments we have with those we hold dear.
In our memories, Penny will forever remain the epitome of a loving, selfless, and caring woman. Her legacy of love will forever be treasured. May she rest in eternal peace, knowing that she made a profound and lasting impact on all whose lives she touched.
Visitation will be held Friday June 16, 2023, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Services will be on Saturday, June 17, 2023, beginning at 5pm with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress, Austin, Texas.
