Wayne Allen passed away May 7th, in Austin, Texas, at the age of 57. Wayne is survived by his wife, Carolyn Gipson Allen, and his loving children, Grayson Kelly Allen, Matthew David Allen, Helen Curtis Allen, Carrie Elizabeth Bissonette, Brian Jacob Bissonette and wife Ana, Jennifer Larkin Bissonette Embrey and husband Chris; two grandchildren, Robin Lucille Rubchenko and Clairie Ann Embrey; and his brother, Ernest Allen of Nevada. Wayne was born in Winnsboro, Louisiana and raised in Vicksburg, Mississippi where he graduated from Cooper High School. He graduated from Louisiana State University with degrees in History and Accounting. Wayne later did post-graduate work at the University of Texas at Austin. For the last 15 years he worked independently as a real estate investor. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 2006, at Weed-Corley-Fish Chapel.
