She attended and was a choir member of the Austin branch of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Lorayne was passionate about cooking and could be counted on to help feed the multitudes at the various church retreats and the yearly conferences. Her passion for cooking was exceeded only by her love of football, and her long-term devotion to her Austin home team, The University of Texas Longhorns.
Lorayne loved spending leisure time on weekends at Lake Travis boating with her husband Preston. She served as a Girl Scout Troup Leader in the Rollingwood Community of Austin where she was also involved for many decades in the communities’ civic activities. Lorayne was always noted for her style, grace, and love of entertaining. She was well-loved by family, friends and neighbors. She will be greatly missed by all.
