Lois Patterson Our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully Thursday, April 17, 2008, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Homer F. Her favorite pastimes included playing Scrabble and bingo, and getting her hair and nails done. She had many friends at Brackenridge and St. David's hospitals, where she logged over 3000 volunteer hours in the gift shops. The family wishes to thank Dr. Mark Klepper, Dr. Howard Lindemann, the staff of The Renaissance, and the nurses of Hospice Austin, especially Melissa Reyes, for their role in caring for Lois in the end, both physically and spiritually.
