Linda Marie Fuchs

Linda was born on March 16, 1946, in Naples, Texas to the late Cleatus Avery Griffin and Eula Beatrice (Bunting) Griffin. She was the youngest of two children, her brother, Roy Alton Griffin, preceding her in death.

Linda married the love of her life, Kenneth John Fuchs, Sr. on September 18, 1965. In 1971, they were blessed with their daughter, Barbie, followed by a son, Kenny, in 1984. In 1989, Linda and Kenneth became grandparents when their first grandchild, Rodger Jr. arrived. In the years following, they were ecstatic to also welcome Rachel (1996), Alec (2001), Lexi (2007), Khloe (2010) and Griffin (2016).

Linda was a devout child of God, attending Abiding Love Lutheran Church in South Austin for decades. She was a shining example of what it means to be a Christian and showed kindness, love and grace every day of her life. In her final years, her life’s work was caring for her soulmate who suffers from Alzheimer’s Disease. She spent every minute of every day ensuring that Kenneth had the best and most attentive care available.

Linda is survived by her husband, Kenneth Fuchs Sr., her daughter Barbara Buie and her husband Rodger, her son, Kenneth Fuchs, Jr. and his wife Sara, her grandchildren; Rodger Buie, Jr., Rachel Molina and her husband Patrick, Alec Fuchs, Lexi Fuchs, Khloe Fuchs, Griffin Fuchs and David Molina, and her great-grandchildren, Eden-Lynn “Kinsey” Ming and Kymberlynn Buie.

Please join the family for a service celebrating the beautiful blessing that Linda was to everyone she met. Family visitation and viewing will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at Abiding Love Lutheran Church, followed by a service at 11:00am. Reception immediately following the service.
