Let me
steep myself
in the brimy breach
and be born
anew this day
this beach
charges nothing
to walk among
the sea rack and
shards of memory
stitch my shroud
tie granite to my ankles
bury me
deep in the heart
of the Chesapeake
I, who have found
the end of the rainbow
can never be unhappy.
