Janelle "Rusty” “Mutzie” Rust Williams

Janelle “Rusty” “Mutzie” Williams was born in New Sweden TX on April 18, 1934 and died July 3, 2013 in Austin TX. Preceded in death by parents Antone and Julia Sakewitz Rust and beloved son Russell Ray Williams. Rusty is survived by her husband of 60 years George C. Williams. Surviving children daughter Michel Garvie, son-in-law Herb Garvie and granddaughter Haley. Daughter Sherry Galloway, son-in-law Mark Galloway, grandson Shawn Galloway and Granddaughter Mandy Geltemeyer, husband Glenn Geltemeyer and great-grandchildren Drew and Allison Geltemeyer.

Rusty loved collecting and wearing her jewelry, watching her favorite soap operas and was known for her Bouffant hairdo. She was known to wager a bet and buy a scratch off or two.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from six o’clock until eight o’clock in the evening, on Friday, the 5th of July 2013, at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas.

Funeral Services will be conducted eleven o’clock in the morning on Saturday, the 6th of July 2013, at St. John Lutheran Church, 17701 Cameron Road, Pflugerville TX 78660. Interment will follow in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Pflugerville, Texas.
