James Pierce "Bo" Brown, Jr., age 52, of Kyle, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2014. He was born in Ft. Worth, Texas on May 17, 1961 to Emma Jean Cortinas and James P. Brown. A lifelong resident of Austin, Bo graduated from Travis High School and was an avid UT sports fan. He also enjoyed music, old TV shows and Jerry.
Bo is survived by his partner Bert Rios; his sisters: Tina Brown, Brenda O'Connor, Sandra Madrid, and Valinda Krynicki; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, May 12th from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 S. Congress Ave. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 13th at 1:00 p.m. at the Weed-Corley-Fish Chapel. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are: James Wesley Madrid, Neilan O'Connor, Ray Rios, Gayle Mair, Keith Roberts, and John Wheeler. Honorary pallbearers: Carter Madrid and John Perez.
The family is hosting a reception following interment.
