Jack Austin Dudley passed peacefully on the evening of November 28, 2015 at the age of 79. Jack Austin was born in Houston, Texas to Earl Austin Dudley, and Ellen Ida Dudley on April 14, 1936. Jack had two brothers; his twin, Joseph, and younger brother, Ron. Jack was the father of three, Misty Dawn, Malesa Beth, and David Austin. He also had four grandsons, Cody Austin, Daniel James, Matthew Aaron, and Daryl Andrew.
Jack was educated at Sam Houston State University, in Huntsville, Texas. There he earned a degree in journalism, with a minor in education. Jack was truly a jack-of-all-trades. From ranching, to preaching, to owning a convenient store, printing, “busting slabs”, and driving a taxi cab. Jack did everything he could possibly do.
Jack was a very happy man, with a very serious sweet tooth. Anything he ate needed just a little bit more salt. He was full of life, until his very last breath. Jack never met a stranger. Anybody he came into contact with was instantly his best friend. He always had an abundance of love to give. He always wanted to help anybody that he could, in any way that he could. There was never a negative thought in his head. Jack had a way of defusing every serious situation, making problems seem smaller than they may have actually been. Jack was a man of faith. He prayed like no other. Jack made it a habit to claim blessings as if they had already happened. He was always waiting for his ship to come in. He was always looking forward to the next blessing. He always had something to say that made you either laugh, or smile. Jack was always whistling, and was always in a good mood. He also had multiple infectious catch phrases, that were picked up by everyone around him.
Jack Austin will forever be missed.
