He is survived by three of his children Kim Ayers her husband Jim Ayers, Brad Boyett and his wife Susan, Barry Boyett and his wife Rhonda. George had 9 grandchildren Andy Ayers, Stephen Ayers, Kathryn Ayers, Danielle Boyett Bayer, Lauren Boyett Adkins, Blake Boyett, Tommy Lee Boyett, Megan Boyett and Amber Boyett. 4 great grandchildren. Braesyn Currie, Brady Bayer, Kenna Adkins, Kallee Adkins and soon to be born any day Crosser Andrew Ayers.
He was proceeded in death by his parents John and Nona Boyett, His sister Jonona Gibson as well as his son John Carlos Boyett and finally His Loving wife Carcelle of 61 years who passed away in January.
George went to Arlington Heights High School in Ft Worth graduated in 1950 and then enlisted in The United States Marine Corps where he served his country faithfully during the Korean War until 1953. He was wounded on September 16, 1951. He received three Purple Hearts and several other metals of honor. He went to TCU and The University of Texas where he got his bachelor's degree in Mathematics.
He married the love of his life Carcelle Wilbanks in1954. He met Carcelle on a blind date which his friend had setup. He was wearing a shirt made out of the same material as her dress. At that point he knew it was fate that they would be married. They fell in love and had their first child 11 months later John Carlos Boyett.
George was in the Coffee business for 60 years. He worked for Maryland Club Coffee Company which eventually was purchased by Coca Cola Foods Division and was promoted to National Sales Manager.
George was well respected in the coffer business and loved his job.
In 1975 he moved back to Austin from Houston Texas and started his own coffee company called Boyett Coffee Company. He worked for himself for over 41 years up until he passed away.
He was a Mason and a Deacon in his church. He also served as a Sunday School teacher at New Hope Baptist Church.
He was a charter member of Austin Baptist Church. He loved having his friends and family around him. He loved to play golf, play his Guitar and Sing. He loved watching baseball and football.
His favorite sports team was The Texas Longhorns.
He never met a stranger and was loved by so many people. He was faithful til the end and never complained about his situation of being paralyzed the last 3 years of his life.
George loved his wife and family and always opened his home to so many people during Thanksgiving and Christmas that did not have a family to be with.
George was a one of a kind and never forgot what it meant to be a US Marine.

A funeral service with military honors will be held on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Austin Baptist Church, Austin, Texas.
