Francisco C. Rodriguez

Francisco C. Rodriguez, age 92, of Austin Texas was called to his eternal home on September 9, 2017. He is survived by his children, Frank Jr. (Delia), Oscar, Balbina (Tony), Gabriel (Linda) and David (Teresa); 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was born in Buda, Texas to Bonifacio & Luz Rodriguez and was the 3rd of 12 children. He is preceded in death by his wife Janie Aleman Rodriguez, brothers Alfonso, Moses, Albert, Raul, Joel and sisters Rachel Diaz, Ofelia Carrizales, and Ninfa Nunez.

He was a truck driver for HEB for 43 years and drove more than a million miles across Texas.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to: Riverside Nursing for their care during his final months; New Century Hospice for providing comfort and support for him and the family during his final weeks; and to Comfort Keepers for providing his wish for homecare and companionship for the last year until his final hour. We thank and appreciate the staff at Satellite Dialysis for helping to maintain his quality of life for the last six years.

Pallbearers will be Roy Carrizales, Kevin Ortiz, Charles Rodriguez, Ronnie Rodriguez, Ricky Rodriguez and Nick Rodriguez.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 13 at Weed Corley Fish Funeral Home 2620 S. Congress Ave.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday September 14, 2017 at the Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
