The mother memories that are closest to my heart are small and gentle ones that I have carried over from days of childhood. They are not profound but they have stayed with me through life and when I am very old they will still be near.
Mom loved and cared for everyone. She loved animals of all kinds, the Dallas Cowboys, Mexican food, and her all time favorite, Dan's Hamburgers. She will be sorely missed by all.
Preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Romero; parents, Melecio and Ignacia Lopez; brothers, Chemo and Gustavo; and sisters, Cata, Nena, Rose and Chelo.
Esperanza is survived by her loving son, Andrew L. Romero (Terry); grandsons, Andrew L. Romero II, Diego Ybarra (Crystal) and David Ybarra; granddaughters, Erica Cohen (Jerry), Stephanie Mannan (James); great grandchildren, Jackson and Delaney Cohen, and Cash Ybarra; and numerous nieces and nephews.
