That is what we have to say in an obituary. And this is what we want to say: Dad went to heaven on February 5 and took pieces of our hearts with him when he left.
Eddie: Dad was an honest, humble, and hardworking man. Although he was was tough on me as a kid, he was the most loving, loyal, and caring person a son could ever have. Dad was an inspiration and taught me how to be a man. He was always there for me and he never wavered. Dad loved to barbecue, watch the Cowboys, and ride his motorcycle. He was always willing to help anyone who was in need and was beloved by all that knew him. These are the memories that will stay with me forever.
Lauren: You were the greatest father a daughter could have. You taught me so much, including the value of loyalty and respect, and I wouldn’t be the woman I am today if I didn’t have you. You were an amazing grandpa and loved playing with the kids. We will hold you in our hearts until we can hold you in heaven.
