Dorothy Hill

Dorothy enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports as well as the UT baseball and girls basketball. She was a member of the Lady’s Auxiliary at St. David’s Hospital on 32nd Street for over thirty years and at one point was the president. She also enjoyed spending time at the lake house, feeding the deer and stray dogs.

She will be greatly missed by her friends and family that she has left to cherish her memories including her sons Brooks Hill, Jr., Brian M. Hill and wife Shelley and Bradley Nash and wife Kimberley; grandchildren, Zachary Brooks Hill, Kelsey Christine Hill, Kirby Thomas Hill, Kacy Hill, Jarrod Beard and wife Maria; great grandchildren, Galen Hill, Jade Hill and James Beard.

Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by her husband Brooks Hill, Sr. and her parents Pete and Elizabeth Laurito.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m., Friday, March 6, 2015 at Cook-Walden Funeral Home Chapel located at 6100 North Lamar, Austin, TX 78752.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to The St. David’s Women’s Auxiliary.
