David Danner Brichler, Sr., age 80, passed away on May 14, 2014 at Cedar Ridge Special Care Center in Cedar Park, Texas.
David was born in Belleville, Illinois on February 4, 1934 to Margaret & Oswald Jacob Brichler. He graduated from Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri in 1954, after which he joined the United States Naval Reserve as a Lieutenant JG and served for two years on the island of Okinawa. He married Marjorie Shepherd in 1955, and together they had two children, David Danner Brichler, Jr. and Barbara Ann Brichler. He and his family moved to the greater Houston, Texas area where he most recently worked as a Vice President of Investments for American National Insurance Company for 18 years.
Mr. Brichler is survived by his wife Marjorie and son David of Austin, Texas, and his granddaughter, Brittney Brichler of College Station, Texas.
