You left us too soon, Darlene. It was a gift from God to know you. I still have crocheted items from instructions you gave me.

Darlene was sweet and hilarious. I always looked forward to seeing her and sitting next to her in choir, joining our voices in the alto section. She was a hard worker, an extremely creative and energetic person and a dear friend who doted on her children and grandchildren. She will be so very missed.

Darlene was a classmate at Putmam Catholic Academy in Connecticut.  I have enjoyed connecting through Facebook, with this vibrant and  loving old friend.   My deepest sympathy to her family and friends.

I had not been in contact with Darlene since the early 60's.  We graduated from St. Mary School in Putnam, CT together.  Thanks to Facebook, we connected a few years ago. Although we didn't have many conversations, we did share some moments including our 1957 class graduation picture. I told her many times that she had changed little and the smile she had was the same smile she had when she was 14.  God bless and my condolences to her family and friends.

I met Darlene at church. She was so generous! Darlene found out I liked vintage dishes so she gave me some vintage coffee cups from her cupboard. I will treasure them, and her memory, forever.

She was a lovely woman and I shall miss her. Jim Jackson, Austin, Tx

Through the years that we knew Darlene, we shared laughter and joy and music.  Now we share your grief and pain at her untimely passing. Darlene's wicked wit and abundant creativity and leadership brought joy to us all that will long be remembered.
