Constance Swift Roe, 79 of Austin, Texas, went to be with our Lord on October 9, 2008. Constance was born in 1929 in Austin, Texas, to Arthur and Lillian Swift. Constance, a life-long residence of Austin, attended Southwestern University where she studied music, which was her love. Throughout her life her beautiful voice was heard at many weddings, funerals, receptions, churches and synagogues. She loved her family dearly and was blessed to have many good friends throughout her life. Surviving her are her three children, Sterling Roe, Wayne Roe, and Karen Dalrymple; grandchildren, Stacy Roe, Heather Roe, Craig Roe, Ryan Roe, and Tyler Dalrymple; as well as one great- grandchild, Derek Roe. Funeral services will be held Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home on South Congress, Tuesday, October 14, 2008, at 2:00 p.m., with a public viewing on Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. afternoon.
