Sending continuous Love as Christina lives in all of us. Recently we were in the company of our mutual dear friend  Elaine McMahon and together we honoured the life of Christina. Christina is a source of  inspiration in our lives and we will continue to be united. Much love from Italy.

Love to the family and friends as Christina's everpresent light fills us continuously with her love, kindness and magic.

I’ve only seen her a couple times. Once at Thanksgiving, my dads wedding and my stepbrothers wedding. She was alway soooo happy. She lit up the room. I just found out she passed after my son passed. My heart is still breaking. Life is so short. I hope she’s at peace. 

I set out today to wish Christina a Happy Birthday, found this sad news instead. 

It was a pleasure knowing her and we can be happy she lived such a beautiful life with so many people who loved her.

Chrissy was an amazing soul.  She is one of the kindest and most genuine beings I have had the pleasure of meeting.  I have such fond memories of her.  My prayers and deepest sympathies are with the entire Song family.  Chrissy will be missed dearly.

Thank you so much for being my friend and confidant. I feel so blessed to have many great memories with you in Austin over the past 4 years and I am truly grateful to have known you. Thank you for always supporting me and sharing your boundless optimism with the world. Thank you for leading by example on how to live fiercely: without fear, but always with care. Your presence always inspired me to be a better person and I know that your spirit will continue to do so. Thank you for being you. I will always hear your infectious giggle in my head whenever I think of you. I miss you so much homie.

I am standing upon the seashore.
A ship at my side spreads her white
sails to the morning breeze and starts for the blue ocean.
 

She is an object of beauty and strength.
I stand and watch her until at length
she hangs like a speck of white cloud
just where the sea and sky come
to mingle with each other. 

Then, someone at my side says;
"There, she is gone!" 

"Gone where?"
Gone from my sight. That is all.
She is just as large in mast and hull
and spar as she was when she left my side
and she is just as able to bear her
load of living freight to her destined port.
Her diminished size is in me, not in her. 

And just at the moment when someone
at my side says, "There, she is gone!"
There are other eyes watching her coming,
and other voices ready to take up the glad shout;
"Here she comes!"
And that is dying.



Chrissie, forgive me but I was too heart broken at your service to articulate what you meant to me, or to recall so many fun times we had together so I am taking the opportunity to do it now.  
We first met in Citigroup when we worked as Admin Assistants - our first jobs out of college. Our friendship was firmly established when I told you our manager had accidentally been told you were in Costa Rica will Brian Mills for the weekend, although you had pulled a sickie! 
The first time we hung out together was with my cousins watching the Tall Ships descend on Manhattan and we continued to have many adventures: snorkeling in Greece; wine tasting in Napa; sun bathing in Ionian islands; touring Paris; drinking Guinness in Guinness Storehouse; and spending time with your loving family on Long Island. 
The funniest memory I have is the time we went to Philadelphia for Darren’s birthday and as we were living within our means three of us had to share two beds. You told me you couldn’t share a bed with me because when we were in Greece I had used your ass as a soccer ball - funnily enough I do recall taking that penalty in my dream! 
Our last holiday was in Thailand for our 40’s where I met your husband Waxee for the first time and immediately recognized what an amazing couple you were together. 
I know I will never have a friend whose mother is also named Bernadette, is also the the only girl and who also has 3 younger brothers.
I could write a book about what you mean to me but let me finish by saying  thank you for 22 years of wonderful friendship and for all you brought into my life. I will endeavor to live my life to honour yours. 
Waxee, Bernadette, Rolan, Nicky, Danny, Robbie and your families - I am devastated for you and will keep you all in my thoughts  & prayers. 
To her global community of friends I know you will agree with me when I say, Heaven has gained an another angel.

Chrissy, I’m lost for words. I’ve known you since I was 3 years old. You are and always will be my older sis, you are my family. You are one of a kind, genuine, caring , giving soul. You are one of the main reasons I’ve traveled the world and the only reason I was able to attend SXSW. Thank you for always making me feel at home and opening your home to me. I couldn’t wait to tell you about my latest adventures to Istanbul and Croatia. I know you would approve. I love you , I miss you ...I will never forget you and I will keep traveling and living my best life to honor your memory.  I will always be your brother from another mother.  ❤️Matty 

I have not stopped thinking of Chrissy since I learned of her passing. My memory of her is and will always be a woman of strength and a girl with a heart of gold. She always wanted to be having fun, smiling and also for everyone around her to feel the same way. She truly celebrated the little things in life and her memory will live on eternally. My thoughts and prayers to the entire Song family. Remember that Chrissy is shining her light upon all the people she met along the way. May she Rest In Peace in Gods hands.

My memories of Christina (Chrissy), are her infectious smile, laughter, and quest for adventure and life.  I knew her as a little girl who grew up before my eyes into a lovely, kind, respectful, responsible young lady.  I remember at a young age how protective she was over her brothers, which she probably continued to be.  
I was so happy when she found her love with Waxee.

I took over Christina’s first flat in Paris. She met me at the Gare de Lyon to walk me to my fate (anyone who knew her back then, knew that she was eager to move out). She somehow had an easy way of making me feel like it might not be so bad for me, which it really wasn’t. With everyone in their right place, we went on to share many evenings of wine and laughter where one didn’t have to precede the other to mean good times. In fact my forever recollection of Christina in those days is: a snarky “good times”, an easy smile and a bop of the head. 

I’m sorry that I wasn’t able to share in her Austin years but we certainly had a blast in our Paris and NYC years. I am comforted by knowing that she always aimed to live her best life ever. Love you girl. I’ll miss you.

I saw how Waxee transformed into the person he is today because of you and his love for you.

Dear Christina, The day you came into Waxee’s life, is the day a permanent smile became stuck to his face. You gave him so much love and brought so much joy into his life. He was happy. This is how every parent wants to see their child. 
In return for your love, he gave you his heart.

Christina was a beautiful person. The twinkle in her eye, smile and easy laugh were infectious. She was taken far too soon and will be missed. My heart is breaking.
