May you find comfort in remembering your beloved father this Father's Day, and every day.

To all of those who have entered their thoughts and prayers to this Guest Book, I thank you for sharing your thoughts of Charles with us.  In all my years with him, I know that he loved his family and friends and loved life. He fought a gallant fight to the very end. I have cried my heart out for him and now must let him rest in peace. Charles was and still is the best friend a person can have, he did not know a stranger just friends yet to meet, Fred and I were honor with his friendship and he well live in our hearts for ever.Till the day we meet in Heaven were he now is a Guardian Angel to all who new him. Charles, with lots of help from Nadine, was the social hub of the neighborhood and a consummate grill master.  He was always willing to help and I'll never forget how he took my remodelers to task for not lining up my new lighting correctly.  Charles was a one man solution to the energy crisis...he always had a project going and always had to be in motion.  He was a good man, a wonderful neighbor and will be missed.

When Mom & I visited Charles at the nursing home all he could think of is how Nadine was doing and when he would see Greg. Mom and I spent time with him laughing and talking about the kids. He loved you both very much. I remember all the times the two of you would come over to mom's and play cards. He was always laughing and joking.He was a loving and caring man. We will all miss him.

Dan and I have Charles and the whole family in our prayers. May God be with all of you at this time.  I remember the volley ball times at Sacred Heart Hall too.

WE MISS YOU Charles (Manuel) as I use to call you.  May the Lord Reposses your Soul and Keep the best handyman He'll ever get. Nadine anything and anytime you need anything do not hesitate to call.

Nadine:  I'd like to express my sympathy over the passing of Charles.  Reading of his death in the local paper brought back many fond memories of the past. Times when we were involved in Cub Scouts. Planting a tree at West Avenue Elementary. And, your involvement with the Girl Scouts and teaching the kids to swim.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time.

Greg, I did not know you father but I am sure that he was proud of you.  I would like to leave a caver blessing for you and your family.  May God be with you in all the dark places where you walk.  Mike Walsh

Janice and I will not soon forget the hospitality shown to us by Charles and his family on Thanksgiving a few years back. It was a wonderful celebration of family and friends, and we were very pleased to be part of it. Charles had the ability to make all feel welcome.
He will be missed by many but memories will always exist.
God loves you and so do we.

My Brother Charles E. Passmore  
Just to let people know about his life.
Charles, or Manny as we used to call him when he was young, was born into a family with five sisters and only one boy;he was the only boy. We lost our father when we were young and during a depression. We lived in West San Antonio and went to Sacred Heart Church. Life was not easy during those times, but Charles studied hard becoming a master electrician and owning his own company.
He fell in love with Nadine, his wife of 60 years and worried about her even when he was very ill himself. He has a son, Greg who he was so proud of - he would tell you all about what he was doing. He loved his sisters and we all loved Charles.  He was our coach when I played volleyball and the best man at my wedding. He was so thoughful and kind. He would do anything for you. And he collected friends. He made friends all during his life, in business, in neighborhoods where he lived or even at the local shops.
I was so glad to be able to see him and pray with him before he went to the Lord.

Charles and I grew up together. We lived next door to each other from pre-grade school through high school. We are first cousins, his mother and my father were brother-sister. Although he was only one year older than I, he taught me a lot and protected me from the bigger guys. We were as close as any two brothers could be. We drifted apart after high school as we each went our own way. He truly was not only a great cousin and playmate but was also a great friend. I regret not getting back to him as I should have but I still treasure his memory. God love him and keep him in heaven where he will await our reunion.

Charles was my big brother and served the role of my father in many ways. We always hung out together and visited often. We played pool at Dewinne's on Commerce Street. We went to football games with 13 of us piled into that small Chevy coupe. I was with him when he went to see Nadine at the Theater on New Braunfels St.He and Nadine honored us when they ask us to be the Godparents of their son Gregory. We are still honored by being chosen for that. We Visited many times and Charles and Nadine use to always send us Fruit Cookies and cake on Holidays.
We will Miss Charles immensely, His stories and most of all his Presence. But we know that Our Lord Now has a dynamic servant for what ever pleases him as he always was here on earth for us and so many others.
May you Rest In Peace Charles with Your Lord and God.

It was an honor to know Charles and to spend time with him. There is no one like him--an amazing, innovative, and accomplished man, ready to do anything for anyone. I hope there's plenty of projects in heaven to keep him busy! He has a permanent place in our hearts.

To The Passmore Family:  Our Uncle Charles will be greatly missed. We are proud to have gotten the privalage to be in his life.  His bright smile and tender heart will be truely missed each day! Cyndi & Kelly Lynn

I only had one uncle and he was a good one. I know he loved it when he would tell me He was my favorite uncle, and he was right. Some of my oldest memories were of my uncle Charles taking me places like the Pig Stand, Medina Lake, or Corpus. He also taught me many life lessons when I was a kid. We always had a good time together. I will miss him very much but I will always carry the things he left with me in my mind and heart. I know for a fact He Will be Gods Lead Electrician.

Nadine and Greg, I have so many fond memories of my Uncle Charles.  He was always so full of fun.  He was a big man with an even bigger heart.  He will be missed, but we shall all get together in celebration of his life.  God Bless and Keep You.  Love, Beverly

Charles was a wonderful friend to all of us who knew him in our neighborhood,  Westview Estates.  He was caring, thoughtful, and generous.  I personally will miss his humorous stories and giant smile.   His last words to me on Monday, May 30, 2011 were, "If you need anything, let me know."   He was willing to be of service, even when he was no longer physically able.

My loving Brother. I will miss you very much. We have been together through good times and bad times and have weathered many storms. I will not forget you and keep you in my prayers. Love, your Sister Teddy
