Catherine Jane Jankowski Fulton was born in Houston, Texas to Louis and Alma Jane Jankowski on July 18, 1951, and raised in a Catholic family in Richmond, Texas along with her brothers Christopher and Charles and her sister Cynthia. Growing up in Richmond, Catherine learned to play piano, she was asked to play at church and family gatherings. She learned to twirl the baton and performed during football games and sang in the choir at Lamar Consolidated High School.
Catherine had many passions in her life. She loved arts and crafts. Anytime you stopped by the house you could find her painting ornaments for the holidays, sewing, or crocheting a blanket. She loved reading and talking about what she had read with family and friends. Her favorite author was Louis L’Amour. Catherine loved a good western book series. Cats were also an important part of her life and were undoubtedly waiting for her at the Rainbow Bridge.
Catherine moved to Austin,Texas where she initially worked for Travis County Sheriff's Office. She met the love of her life, Roger Fulton and they married in 1993. Together they created a home full of love and happiness. They enjoyed watching murder mysteries and gardening
Catherine is survived by her husband, Roger Fulton of Austin,Texas; brother and sister-in-law Christopher and Ann Jankowski of Sugar Land, Texas; Sister and brother-in-law CJ and Gary Aber of Simonton, Texas; brother and sister-in-law Charles and Jeana Jankowski of Simonton,Texas; daughter Tammey Blasdel of Irving, Texas and granddaughters Greenlee and Chandler Fitzhugh. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Catherine passed away on May 28, 2024 from natural causes. Catherine’s final resting place will be Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas in a private ceremony with family and close friends.
