I am at a loss for words. I don't know how you deal with the loss of a child. I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you find comfort and help from the many people who think so highly of you. I will be thinking of you .

It truly saddened me to hear about the passing of my buddy Carter. Carter was a bright young man with a contagious smile and a great sense of humor. We worked together through our business classes at Southwestern University and shared many great conversations. Carter always had a calm and cool demeanor and made all of us laugh. Although Carter is not here with us physically anymore he sure will always be with us spiritually. May God rest his soul, love you bud.

We are so very sorry and praying for all of you at this time.  With heavy hearts we will honor his memory and hope to support all of you in the future.  Though we did not have the chance to meet Carter we will carry his spirit in each and every one of us forever.
We love his sister Caroline so much.

Carter was a very kind and very funny young man, and I was very lucky to spend some time hanging out with him over the years, having a blast gaming and laughing with him and Chandler. Modern gaming can be a funny thing in how it can tie you to folks you've never even met in person, creating lasting memories, and I'm so glad that it brought Carter and I together. 

There's a bit of a running joke in the gaming community: even if it's been a long session, even if you've surpassed your time limit, even if you've done nothing but lose, as long as you're playing with your friends, there's always room to ask: "...one more?"

I'll always wish I could play one more with Carter. 

My condolences go out to his family and loved ones who have lost a bit of their light this week. I can't imagine what y'all are going through, but I hope you don't feel so alone in going through it. 

Rest in Peace, Carter, you'll always be missed.

The news of Carter’s passing broke my heart and brought me to tears. Words can’t express how fortunate and blessed I was to have met and befriended Carter in my last year of college.  That year was filled with nothing but joyous laughter and crazy adventures thanks to Carter’s radiant and  daring personality. We often hung out in my dorm, playing video games, free-styling to beats, and talking about life’s many mysteries. I don’t think Carter knew how much he meant to me. He was more than a friend, a brother that you could rely on for anything. Always going the extra mile for the people he cared about. I pray for peace of mind and heart for his family. Gone but never forgotten, his memories lives on in our hearts.

Our deepest condolences go out to the Welsh family and friends. We are truly saddened by the loss of a great friend. Carter brought the world endless joy and laughter to every moment. He left behind memories that were vibrant and unforgettable, just like his character. Carter was the kind of friend you could always count on, embodying honesty, reliability, and trustworthiness in every situation. He was a gentle soul whose energetic demeanor and unique personality touched everyone around him, making him a steadfast presence in our lives. Fond memories of laughing, adventuring, and creating joyful mischief with Carter will forever be in our hearts. It’s hard to get my head around the fact that Carter will no longer be with us in body, but will be in spirit. Carter was a personality, a character, and a great man. I always thought Carter was a knowledge seeker, the way he spoke, the way he analyzed the life around him, it was brilliant to see first hand. We had many nights of laughter with groups of friends, many nights of deep talks about conspiracy theories, and many memories that I will cherish. Although Carter and I didn’t speak too much after sophomore year of college, I will always hold his presence close to me… I pray I can live out my life in honor of his ways and his legacy. I’ll love you forever brother, rest in peace.

I met Carter my freshman year of college and although I only knew him for a short period of time, my college experience would not be the same without the laughter-filled memories I cherish surrounding his special presence. My heart goes out to his family during this difficult time.

Carter was my roommate for our first year at southwestern university. He was one of the coolest and most stylish guys on the campus. He helped me get through one of the hardest times of my life with the passing of my dad. He will be remembered, he was a good man.

Carter’s passing has genuinely shocked me. I knew Carter during my freshman year at SU. He was an amazing soul and a really caring friend. I remember going into his room freshman year and playing video games with him on his computer. He was so funny, but even through the humor you could tell he really cared about his people. During a period where I was really upset over something so minuscule, Carter called me up and came over to my dorm and just hung out with me for a bit. I would return the favor often and we would hang out and play game + chit chat. He was a fantastic man and I offer my deepest condolences and thoughts towards his family.

We are so very sorry to hear the news about Carter. We are devastated for you all. Danielle, I will always be here for you in Atlanta and Caroline, I know how much Leila loves you and will be in San Diego very soon. Praying for peace that passes all understanding.
