Carrie Hill Strahan, 102, went home to the Lord on November 7, 2009. Born January 12, 1907, in Ada, Oklahoma. Married 1924 to Herbert Hill who preceded her in death in 1986. She married Clarence Strahan 1988 and became widowed again 1997. Sons Raymond and Bobby Hill and daughters Helen Walpole and Modell Tabor-McCarty preceded her in death. Carrie is survived by son Lee Hill and wife Terry of Austin, daughter Jean and husband Grady Stone of Delight, AR, sisters Johnnie Hoff of San Antonio and Ruby Langley of Austin, 23 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, even to the 6th generation, many nieces, nephews, and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, November 13, 2009 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at Robinson Cemetery in Robinson, Texas.
