Betty Jo Crow

Betty Jo grew up in West Texas and Austin She married the love of her life Floyd Hyden on June 16, 1951 and spent the next 35 years raising her 6 children and 3 of her grandchildren, she loved them all very much. She was a caring and loving mother who selflessly gave so that her kids always felt love and had everything they needed. After the death of Floyd on May 25, 1986, she married her 2nd love Carl Crow on August 28, 1990. She spent the next 22 years being spoiled until his death on July 4, 2013. During her life she added kids, grandkids, great grandkids, and great great grandkids. She was known to everyone as Little Grannie. She truly loved children and babies and considered all her progeny her babies. She especially loved adoring and spoiling all her babies. It seems she always had a baby to cherish and everyone that knew her loved her very much.

Betty Jo is survived by 8 children: Janie Clements; Buddy Hyden & wife Bonnie; Debbie Greenfield; Edna Meredith; Bubba Hyden & wife Bobbie; Patty Meredith & husband Bubby; Amy Williams & husband James; Esther Meredith; 19 grandkids; 46 great grandkids with one on the way; 14 great-great grandkids with one on the way; which means she is responsible for 90 descendants. She is also survived by 4 stepchildren David Shropshire; Curtis Crow and wife Darlene; Francis Rose and husband Michael; and Carl (Cricket) Crow and wife Tracy; 14 step grandchildren; 19 step great grandchildren; and many many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Floyd Hyden Sr.; husband Carl Crow; daughter Madge Glover; Son in Law Johnny Clements; Son in Law Greg Meredith; Son in law Norwin Bingham; Great granddaughter Joyce Scott; Step granddaughter Christy Davis; Father Gerald Ingle; Mother Edna Marshall; stepfather Allen Marshall; Brother Donald Marshall; Brother Ernie Marshall; Sister Clara Jean Pope; and Sister Geraldene Ince.
