Anna Bell Kruse Zwernemann passed away at home on Friday, April 2, 2021. She was born on May 26, 1929 in Taylor Texas. Her parents were Walter and Bell Kruse. She graduated from Taylor High School and went to work for Gellmans Dept. Store and Benad Candy Company.
In 1951 she married the love of her life, Melvin Zwernemann, son of Edwin and Bertha Zwernemann of Manor. They farmed in Richland, Texas for a short time until Melvin joined the U.S. Army. After he returned they decided to make Austin, Texas their home and remained there the rest of their lives. During that time Ann was employed by the Texas Department of Public Safety and then The Texas Highway department, where she retired 20 years later.
She was preceded in death by her husband, mother, father, one infant daughter, three brothers and one sister-in- law.
She is survived by 2 daughters and son-in-laws, Sandy and Paul Franks, and Donna and Russell Moore, 2 grandsons, Michael Franks and wife, Heather Franks, and Steven Franks, one great-granddaughter, Mikayla Franks, 2 sister-in-laws and many nieces and nephews.
