Anna Rhea McFarland Smith Anna Rhea McFarland Smith was born January 24, 1926 in Liberty Hill, Texas and passed away on July 14, 2004 at the age of 78. She was preceded in death by her father Floyd McFarland and mother Myrtle Wofford. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Norman L. Smith III, son Glenn Smith of Manor, daughter and son-in-law John and Debi Johnston of Leander, and sister Elba Dean Johnson of Houston. She is also survived by two grandsons and five great grandchildren. The family would like to give special thanks to James Hull MD, John Sandbach MD, James Cullington MD, and Lisa Sailor PA as well as the staff of Seton Medical Center and Charles Owen MD and the nurses at the Austin Heart Hospital. Their dedicated, professional, and caring service during the last difficult years of Anns declining health is greatly appreciated. The family will receive visitors from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, July 18, 2004 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home.
