Anna Benavides

Anna Benavides, age 53, passed away peacefully in Austin, Texas, surrounded by her family on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 and is now resting in peace with our Lord and Savior. She was born on June 23, 1959 to Gilberto and Ana Benavides and was preceded in death by her father, Gilberto Benavides, Sr. and her beloved husband, Henry Ybarra.

Anna is survived by her mother, Ana Maria Benavides, sisters: Laura Moreno (Luis), Yolanda Perez (Jaime), Vicki Sifuentes (Joe David), and brother, Gilbert Benavides, Jr. (Regina); Nieces: Amy Benavides (Chris), Kim Trigo (Joel), Katherine Perez, Alicia Perez, Briana Benavides, and Ivana Perez; and Nephews: Luis Moreno, II (Monica), Eric Moreno, Michael Garcia, Jr. (Crystal), Bryan Garcia (Alejandra), Matthew Perez, Gilbert Benavides, III; and three great nieces and three great nephews. Her love for children made her nieces and nephews her pride and joy. She will be dearly missed by all including a host of extended family and friends.

Family, friends, and others whose lives Anna touched are invited to the Rosary on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 7pm and the Funeral Service on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 2pm held at the Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home (3125 N. Lamar Blvd., Austin, TX 78705).
