Born to Walter and Dorothy (Patterson) Smith on April 10, 1930 in Beatrice, Ontario.
Predeceased by her siblings, Teddy Smith and Sheila Medley.
Predeceased by her beloved husband of 63 years, Norman, who passed on August 1, 2015. They married on June 21, 1952 and soon settled in Aurora, where they lived in several locations over the next 59 years and lastly residing in Bradford. Raising their family in Olde Aurora, square dancing, winters in Florida and summers with extended family at Camel Lake gave them great joy.
Much-loved mother of Clayton (Judy), Lynn and Brenda (Mark Richardson). Devoted grandmother of Rebecca, Rachel, Lydia (Sean Fowle), Stacey (Jason MacKenzie), Darren (Ashley Erhardt) and Travis (Alex Goff). Cherished G.G. of Aaron, James, Natalie, Carter, Hudson, Taylor, Teighan, Rosie and her newest, Alexander Norman. The family wishes to thank all of the staff at Simcoe Manor for their kindness and caring during our mother’s stay there.
Arrangements are under the care and guidance of Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, ON. Public visitation will be held at this location on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 from 11:00 am until the time of the service at 11:30 am, a reception to follow.
