Peacefully on Saturday May 31, 2014 at Southlake Regional Health Centre at the age of 92. Beloved daughter of the late Fredrick and Mary Lightfoot. Dear sister of the late Fredrick and Hilda Lightfoot. Survived by her cousin Jean and her husband Harry Hesson and their family in England. Dorothy will be missed by her life-long friend from the WAAF Alice Paxton. Loving aunt to Bernadette and her husband Colin Graham, great aunt to 12 and great-great aunt to 12. A memorial service will be held at the Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, on Thursday June 5 at 1pm in the chapel with visitation beginning at 12pm. Interment of Dorothy’s cremated remains will take place in England later in the year. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
