It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Concepcion “Tina” Di Vincenzo, on December 29th, 2024. She was a beloved mother to Jessica (Philip) and Brian (Tricia), adored “Nonnie” of Kaija, dear sister of Carlos (Maria Elena) and beloved friend to many.
Born in Castropignano, Italy to parents Ernestina Sergense and Carmine Di Vincenzo, she moved at a young age to Buenos Aires, Argentina and became the first to complete a University degree in her family. Tina practiced dentistry in Argentina until a vacation to Canada moved her across continents once again. She married her former husband, Bruno Greguol, and eventually settled in her cherished community of Aurora, Ontario. Tina loved sunshine and forests, watercolours and theatre, fashion and travel! Her adventures brought her around the world, including Europe, the Holy Land, Africa, the Galapagos Islands, Antarctica, South America and more beaches than one could count.
Tina’s compassion, honesty, and warmth are remembered fondly, and all who met her describe her as nothing short of a remarkable woman. Tina’s life is an example of how to seek new adventures, overcome obstacles, and move with grace and humour through life. Her children, family, and wide community of friends will best honour her memory by living our lives to the fullest!
In lieu of flowers or other gifts, her family asks that you consider a monetary donation made directly to the Aurora Food Pantry in her honour. (https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/aurora-food-pantry/) or thru this website.
